Four UK players in qualies. One supported by Team Aegon. Which three performed best?
I don't mean a jest at Naomi B- good luck to her, and it is now good the LTA is funding her. More a comment on the wonderful insightfulness of the LTA with respect to at least one of the others...
There is no report/messages about Dubai 75K from LTA, why?? It is not normal?!
I would guess it's only because they haven't even finished qualifying yet, not anything more sinister ... indeed, it's not often you get any reports on the LTA site at the weekend at all, they seem to have made a special case of the Orange Bowl.

That's some win - Chalova beat Heather Watson in Tallinn this summer and was ranked as high as 151 about a year ago. She does seem to have had injury problems over the last couple of months, but still a big win.

Anna had the trainer on after the first set. Shoulder problem. Had two match points in the second set. Did very well to come back so strong in the third set and win it so comfortably. I spoke to her afterwards and she didnt seem concerned with the shoulder. Apparently, qualifiers wont play their first round match until Wednesday so could get a rest day tomorrow from singles. Great win !
Tara came up against a very consistent opponent who is on a bit of a roll. Tara was unable to break serve despite her opponent's underarm second serve (which was however incredibly deep each time). Outside chance to get a LL spot if some players dont show.
