The start of the North American finale to the junior season is in Mexico where Oliver Golding and George Morgan should figure among the top 8 seeds. Kyle Edmund and Natalie Beazant are also acceptances for the main draws, whilst Luke Bambridge just missed out on automatic entry. He isn't in qualifying so must have either withdrawn or been handed a wildcard. Toby Martin is the only Brit in qualifying and has progressed to today's final round

In the Junior Davis Cup semis Canada surprisingly omitted Ed Nguyen from the second singles against Kyle. Belatedly the pair meet in the first round here.

Good win for Luke against a higher ranked opponent, and a decent chance against a seed with a modest record this year including an easy loss to Liam.
Natalie got lucky, as her extremely strong projected second round opponent (Ku Flores, who reached a 10K final earlier this month) withdrew, so hope she can take advantage.
A fine win for Kyle over the top 1994 boy, but frustration for Luke losing an enormous tiebreak. George faces a tough match against last year's stand-out 1995 player Nikola Milojevic, who has claimed the highest ranking spot from Kyle after winning his last Grade 2 tournament
From the LTA: Martin Weston, British Tennis Junior Tennis Manager - Men's Tennis, said afterwards: It was another good day for the boys. In particular George was extremely competitive, Olly (Golding) was aggressive and showed great court presence and Kyle (Edmund) played absolutely superbly tonight."

Kyle is just one win away from the top 100, something not achieved by any British boy in their first post-14 year for a long time (Andy Murray broke through in the January of the following year, but played considerably fewer tournaments). According to Martin Weston per LTA site: "Kyle played superbly again. A mature performance"
Olly & George, Luke and Natalie (with respective partners) are all through to the doubles quarters
