RE: Week 45 Challenger - Knoxville, USA ($50K) - Hard

Now it's disappeared off the LS altogether, yet the result isn't shown in the results section. confuse I assume he lost ( cry ), but he's a busy boy today, as he's in action for the third time today in the doubles qualies:

Q1:   (WC) Taylor Fogleman & Benjamin Rogers (USA/USA) vs (q2) Andrew Anderson (RSA) & ChrIs Eaton

Yeh.. big shame.

Fell apart from 4-3 up in the 1st it seems, maybe just fatigue after such a long 1st match maybe.

Hopefully these two can keep up there qualifying in dubs record lol

Tis true.  My livescore confirms  10 - 3.

Good that Chris has got something positive at the end of the day and hope they can win their doubles FQR.

The singles FQR against Monroe always looked a pretty tough task particularly after Chris had more of a struggle than one would have expected in his first match.

Mine, too, now! *rolls eyes*

Doubles qualifying final (tomorrow):  (q1) John Paul Fruttero & Raven Klaasen (USA/RSA) vs (q2) Andrew Anderson (RSA) & Chris Eaton

Fingers crossed that they can do it again... pray.gif

No record of the outcome of the match that I've been able to find, but possibly it didn't have to be played, as Chris & Andrew are now showing on the LS as playing the second seeds, Stephen Huss & Peter Luczak, for the second week in a row in the first round of the main draw! confuse Huss & Luczak should have been playing Ashwin Kumar & Marinko Matosevic (USA/AUS), so I assume that they pulled out & that Chris & Andrew were drafted in as alternates, leaving Fruttero & Klaasen to take the qualifiers' berth agin Delic & Reynolds...

I cant find a result for FQR for the dubs but now Eaton/Anderson are on the scoreboard against Huss/Luczak.
So im presuming they lost and got in as lucky losers as the qualifying team were to be placed against Delic/Reynolds.

So if both doubles qualie finalists were promoted to main draw, do they qualie points? I guess not but they had both already played and won a match???
