Where can you see the drawsheets/results from these Aussie tournaments apart from ITF site?

Lisa must've won as she's in the main draw. No score yet though.

R1: (q) WHYBOURN, Lisa WR 328 v IIJIMA, Kumiko (JPN) WR 274
R1: SOUTH, Melanie WR 280 v (SE) GLUSHKO, Julia (ISR) WR 327 - Ouch.

Glushko won last week's event, beating Mel 3&0 along the way. Let's hope she's tired!

I see this Aussie 25K has generally quite a bit higher seeds than the earlier 25Ks that Mel and Cav were playing and indeed last week, attracting Alicia Molik and others.

Cav was getting seeded 2 & 3 with a ranking around what the 8th seed has here ( ranked 225 ) and the 8th seed in earlier tournaments was ranked 350 and more.

I guess less choice at this time of the year.

Mixed fortunes for the girls in the doubles:

L16:  Maria Abramaovic & Madalina Gojnea(CRO/ROU) WR 832 defeated Timea Babos(HUN) & Mel South by 6-4 7-6(4) bleh

L16:  Cagla [Activeboard won't let me reproduce the accents in her first name, damn it! mad.gif] Büyükakçay & Julia Glushko (TUR/ISR) WR 451 lost to Isabella Holland (AUS) & isa Whybourn WR 1071 by 4 & 4 biggrin

Nice to see one Brit get the better of Glushko! wink

Glad to see Mel getting revenge over the Israeli. Whether Glushko was tired after week or not, it's good to see Mel navigating a tricky opponent seemingly comfortably.
