Hopefully we get qualifiers from section 2 and 4, with 3 points to qualifiers. Would be dissapointed if McGhee managed to get through from section 4 seeing as there's 7 brits in it!
You're preaching to the converted if you're complaining about the LTA's lack of proper organisation, mind it. But it's possible that this particular case is not an example of it.
I don't think having a late draw is anything bad, to be honest. Sure, getting SEs is very difficult, but then you can argue that if any British player is eligible for a Friday SE, they would get a wild card anyway and this ensures (slightly) more British participation. Also, Futures players (who represent the majority for GB, anyway) and the students (i.e. Juniors) benefit if the process takes place on a weekend.
I'm sure you can raise a few good points as to why the draw should be made earlier, but I don't think there'll be anything damning on either side.
