Because a lot of players above him are going to be dropping points and I would be suprised if all of them gained as many with the amount of challengers left to play (and hopefully James can keep going!)

Hopefully so.  With the GB girls looking likely to have 5 in the top 200 at year-end, the most since 1998, it would not be at all good if the guys were down to one, the least at year-end since 1990.
