Just seen a post on menstennisforums re an email they are sending to the LTA.  It comes from a Brit. But folk from other countries have been expressing frustrations as well. Maybe the worst thing actually is it comes as no great surprise to me  and probably others on this forum. Maybe we should all bombard the LTA !!  Anyway the post goes....

Just sent the following email to the LTA:

Dear Sir/Madam,

I would like to express the dissatisfaction of both myself and the wider global tennis-following community with the lack of information made available by the LTA about professional tournaments in the UK, in particular at Challenger level. I suggest that whoever receives this message should first read the following thread on an internet message board for tennis fans: http://www.menstennisforums.com/showthread.php?t=171062 - this should make many of the issues clear. It is quite incredible that for Challengers in countries such as Ecuador or Kazakhstan there are live scores available online and results are published within minutes of matches finishing, yet with UK Challengers we must wait for hours until the drawsheet is updated late in the evening, and along with many others I am baffled as to how this can be the case, as it would only take one member of staff a few seconds per match to simply write one line giving a result.

Any information you have on why this is the case or what steps are being taken to improve the situation would be much appreciated.

You ain't wrong there, Indy!  I think it's absolutely appalling, not to mention disgraceful, that the LTA can't be bothered to get its @rse in gear & provide live scoring on ALL Challengers staged in  the UK & then has the bloody gall to keep us fans waiting for hours for an update on any given day. disbelieffrustrated.gif Doubtless, Roger the Dodger & Co will plead poverty/lack of resources to devote to IT "support" (assuming they can be @rsed to respond in the first place!), but even that argument fails to hold water when you think of the money that's poured into the LTA coffers by the AELTC & other sources, only to be squandered on overseas, big-name, so-called coaches, who promptly fail to give any noticeable return on a very expensive & totally cost-INeffective investment... steaming.gif

P.S.  I couldn't give a tinker's about the feelings of the foul-mouthed Johnny foreigners on MTF, as, more likely than not, all they care about is the fate of whatever they've staked on the outcome of a particular match, but I am annoyed at the apparent disdain with which non-betting British fans are treated. furious

So 1 out of 3, was hoping for 3 to come through out of our 7, hopefully some of Ward, Cox, Willis or Thornley can grab wins tomorrow.
