Ouch, Surin's only 16 but is National U16 Canadian Champion. Hopefully no injuries worries for Emily though.

It would indeed. Although, the QF should be a lot tougher as Riske's latest 4 tournaments go: 50K final, 75K win, 50K win, 50K win.

Also, I McHale went out in the first round to the girl Eleanor Dean double bagelled at Wimbledon.

Can never totally trust these youngsters and in her only senior tournament showing in her WTA activity since May, Abaza beat WR 511 and took WR 641 to 3 sets in a 10K in September.  Pretty tight 3 set win against the Canadian WC Palivets WR 868 in R1.

But yes, got to still think Heather should be marching into the QFs.

That means she will go 1 point ahead of Laura, and probably (based on this week's rankings anyway) into the top 200 smile.gif

Btw I'm not sure why Heather was first on court playing R2 today when the other players in her section were still to play R1! confuse
