RE: Week 44: Challenger - Eckental (€30,000 + H) (carpet)

You would have thought a set and double break lead against an Italian clay courter on an indoor carpet court would be pretty much game over, however never start counting anything in a Boggo match! In all seriousness though this has been an impressive return thus far

good work in the end, looks like that battle at the start of the 2nd set was crucial

If my memory serves me correct Alex lost to Huta Galung a few years ago.

R32: (Q) Alex Bogdanovic WR 293 beat Simone Vagnozzi (ITA) WR 178 by 3 and 0 biggrin

R16: (Q) Alex Bogdanovic WR 293 v (7) Jesse Huta Galung (NED) WR 121

As Smidster says Huta Galung was rather fortunate to come through his first round match. The H2H is 1-0 to Huta Galung with a QF win in Aachen back in 2006. Huta Galung has done most of his winning on clay this year and based on their respective first round matches I would give Boggo a real shot in this one
