I assume that was a typo and you meant "pressure is on". She'll do well to win this one, but will surely be well motivated - a top 200 year end, AO place made certain and presumably her final tournament with Bok.
As for her opponent, it doesn't feel right making puns when its this easy...

I thought Philwrig did mean 'pressure is off' since Laura is clearly the much lower ranked player and would not logically be expected to win - such as in her 1st round Wimbledon this year, which, although she did lose, she played really well, and much better than in the Juniors matches she played later in the tournament.
(sorry that's a bit of a rambling sentence and I'm sure Philwrig will clarify, more eloquently, just what he did mean )
Really pleased with the draw. Kimiko is a player all players who havent played her should want to play at least once before she retires for good. She's like the female santoro. Once she's gone, she's gone.
I've always thought she plays better under pressure - bigger tournaments, better opponents and bigger crowds seem to bring better performances. I suppose its a different kind of pressure to the pressure of being expected to win easily, but still not stress free, especially as this match makes such a different to her year. The next one, the pressure is off.
