That's a good save from Laura after the disappointment of going from a break up to a break and set points down. Hopefully that will give her the boost to take early control in the second set.

Laura goes down 30-40 but this time cannot find the first serve (20% won on second serve only this set) and is broken cry

Chiaki throws in a double at 30-15 but recovers to take the set 6-3. I wonder if playing 2 games in a day is taking more toll of Laura than her Japanese opponent.

But both girls showing signs of nerves and tiredness ?  Laura a little more so perhaps.

It was great she won that 1st set tiebreak - I don't believe her tiebreak record is that marvellous?
