Quite strange, but he has partnered him before (a while ago at Manchester) so maybe felt to him like a good partnership. I know Anderson has a good serve, so as long as they protect their serves i see no reason for at least a quarter/semi of the main draw.
Just noticed, dont know if anyone else has, that Amer Delic is now representing Bosnia and Herzegovina, he was born there so i wonder what has made him change to now represent these instead?

He played Davis Cup for Bosnia & Herzegovina against Portugal (on clay) during the last round of matches - eventually losing two tight 5 setters (1 singles and 1 doubles). From what I remember from an article (which I can't locate at the moment or recall word for word) he talked about his desire to play Davis Cup and the closeness he still felt towards his country of birth (don't forget that he didn't move to the States until he was 14). So I think it was a marriage that suited all involved - Amer gets to play Davis Cup & support the country of his parents whilst B&H get to add a former top100 player to their already improving DC team.
Cox has won 15Ks in Ireland and Norway, and only three 10Ks in Britain, so that is a very interesting observation. Nice effort here, I guess. Ball is good enough to win these tournaments so I hope that this will encourage him to withdraw from Glasgow and stay on.

I basically consider an Irish tournament similar to GB. I am sure the temperature, facilities etc will be basically the same. Fair shout on Norway though. But in general you must admit his overseas form has not been too impressive so it will be great if he can qualify again next week and maybe even win a round
At least Chris is still flying the flag: he & Anderson beat Bakalov & Borvanov by 4 & 3 to qualify for the doubles main draw. They face Lester Cook & Amer Delic (USA/BIH) in the first round.
