Perhaps stupid was too strong a word but the implication seemed to be that even if Flemski were still playing together, it might be a sensible option to pair Skupski & Hutch for DC. Kind of misses the point that it's only really worth including two doubles specialists in a DC team if they're an established pair ... plus I find it hard to believe that Flemski wouldn't be doing at least as well as these two if they'd been able to play together here.

Right ok then. I agree it's not likley that this relationship will overtake the Flemski partnership, but you also have to factor into account , uh oh 0-40., the sometimes wired DC selection policy criteria.
