Well, we may be a bit rubbish at singles, men's doubles and women's doubles, but you can't beat the Brits at the Mixed. (responsible for our only successes at Wimbledon in the last 30 years too ... you can be sure that if mixed doubles was ranked, the LTA would include it in their top 100 totals wink)

SF: (3) Borwell/Skupski (ENG) v (1) Rodionova/Hanley (AUS)
SF: (4) Smith/Hutchins (ENG) v Rae/Fleming (SCO)

I KNEW you were going to say that.

Rodionova & Hanley beat Borwell & Skupski 6-4 3-6 7-6

So two medals guaranteed, either a silver and a bronze or a gold and a bronze.

it's only 1 medal guaranteed, a Silver or a Gold, the Scots may nick the Bronze furious
So ... no-one giving Col & Joss a chance of getting into gold/silver medal position???  Interesting ... we shall see ....

And err apart the fact that Col & Jos could reach the final, it's 2 medals guaranteed as wolf said, or are the Scots some foreign entity to this British board ?    smile

Wish we Scots were the Ozzies, then it looks like we'd be pretty guaranteed to whip some English butts  wink.gif

Hutchins/Skupski against Bopanna/Devvarman is now on BBC Red Button (not freeview) and the BBC Sport website.

The match has been switched to Centre Court.

Ken in particular playing some great stuff here smile.gif

Who is the female commentator? She was already annoying me and now she's just said Leon Smith is probably watching this wondering if Skupski/Hutchins might be an option for DC in the future. Do I need to explain why I find that comment so stupid?
