This is mostly a rhetorical question, however, wonder why it takes them so long to update the scores/results on the CWG website? I mean, most of our technology is outsourced over there now ... so I'm just saying .... -:).
Sounds like Flembo & Joss gave (2) Mirza & Paes a big battle but eventually went down.
Ross Hutchins: "Sitting on court 1 watching an Indian pair playing vs Scots..crowd r going WILD!!Can't believe it..chants of 'INDIA..INDIA!!' Over and over"
Some random CWG watcher: "#Sania has won her doubles tennis match against SCO. What a turnaround!"
Scrap that - it may have been Rae/Brown that Sania beat in the women's doubles .... I'll try to find out!

Just worked out that it's Scotland v India in men's women's and mixed doubles ... no wonder it's confusing.
Looks like Ross is watching Flembo/Murray take on (2) Boppy/Devvy and it was Rae/Brown who pushed (4) Mirza/Chakravarthi so close before going out - quite an effort if so.

Borwell/Skupski beat Watson/Ogier 6-0 6-1 and are now in the SF's Fleming/Murray lost to Bopanna/Devvarman 6-3 6-1 in the QF's Smith/Hutchins beat Sri Lankans 6-2 6-2 and are in the SF's Lewis/Milton lost in 2 in the QF's to Hanley/Luczak
Steven, can you give us a full results update of all the matches involving Brits so far in all 5 comps? I bet if you didn't spend your day rambling on twitter, you would have done this already.
The coverage of this has been a joke, and I'm a bit lost. Website is crap, and the BBC seem more interested in showing bowls than tennis.
This is a really strange tournament. Cananda and South Africa did not even bother to send out a tennis team. Many big names are missing. I am pleasently surprised that some reasonable players took the time off to compete.
Tennis, in common with the badminton and table tennis, have has shown a huge gap between the best and the rest. Unlike the olympics there is no qualifying standard for many sports. Small nations, have sent their amateur players to play along side the big boys and girls. It can't be much fun to be hit off the court! But I supposed just being here is publicising countries few have heard of.
I got the feeling Scotland had given up on singles when Jos did not enter. They put their effort into the doubles understandably. However the draws have been bad, especially men's doubles with a poor result for Flemurray against the Indian pair. Perhaps Colin should have played on in singles! The girls went out 6-1 7-6 to Chakravarthi/Mirza. Only Rae/Fleming left in mixed to be played tomorrow.
I think Luczak will win gold, Devvarman silver and Ward the bronze. Yoshi might just miss out, although I am looking forward to seeing the new leaner, fitter version he describes!
For the girls, Rodionova for gold(sorry Heather!) Rogowska the silver, and Mirza the bronze.
In MD the Indian pairs for gold and silver with Hutchins/Skupski fighting it out with Hanley/Luczak for bronze.
In WD Peers/Rodionova for gold, Borwell/Smith for silver, Moore/Rogowska for bronze.
In XD Mirza/Paes for gold, Rodionova/Hanley silver and Smith/Hutchins the bronze.
Borwell/Skupski beat Watson/Ogier 6-0 6-1 and are now in the SF's
where they play the Aussie top seeds, Paul Hanley & Anastasia Rodionova. Should be a good match. On the face of it, Sarah & Ken, as seasoned doubles players, could perhaps just have the edge (no idea what kind of record Rodionova has...)?
