I managed to get 3 of my questions answered, Heather avoided hers quite wisely. They all seem to be in good spirits, plenty of lighthearted banter, so hopefully a good sign ahead of next week.
Do you think being a rookie will be a positive or a negative and if you had to mention which one part of your game has improved the most over the last 12 months what part would that be?
that doesnt seem like such a tough Q to answer. it would be easy just to give a very diplomatic and straight forward answer. "i think it will be a positive as i can use it as a learning experience and swing away. i think my aggression has improved a lot over the last 12 months because i have really been working on that part of my game"
see, how hard was that. lol

In that case, it goes on:
- number of matches won - if that is also equal, on % of sets won out of those played against all teams in the pool - if that is also equal, on % of games won out of those played against all teams in the pool

Reports today that both Malaysia and NZ have had to pull out of Fed Cup because they can't get a team out! Malaysia thought about drafting in a Swedish player who was eligible to play but then decided she wasn't good enough. LOL
I also noticed this little gem (gem, not GEM!) when looking something up for someone today - GB has more players in the WTA top 100 (and, since Heather's recent rise, the top 150) than the whole of Latin America put together. Who'd have thought it?!

That Switzerland match will be vital. I can't see Denmark winning any match besides Wozniacki, the rest of the team is really that bad. They were the same last year.
I would say that our girls are in much better form than the Swiss and should be favourites for this.
