No head to head 25 year old Kravchuk on the up. Top seed in these qualifiers. Bad draw for James
Q1 Josh Goodall v Ivan Dodig (2) WR 134
25 year old Dodig is a good player. Josh will struggle in this match. The only silver lining here is that Dodig has retired in his last two tournaments. Could possibly do the same here.
So another instance where the British players get the top two seeds. Not good at all. Rieschick in the same part of the draw as Josh as well. Tursunov lurking for James. To be honest you could not have hand-picked a worse draw.

Tough draws, but our guys have to l take the rough with the smooth. James has the potential to be ranked 130 or better, so he is going to have to start winning this sort of match at some point soon. He is on a fairly good run of form so it is by no means an impossibility. Kravchuk has reached the final of his last two challengers though, including last week.
Josh v Dodig *5-5 1st set - Josh has held fairly easily up to now but Dodig has been holding very easily indeed - just 5 points lost on serve to Josh's 7.
