That means that in the QFs, Rice will play Coco, whom he beat 3-6 7-5 6-4 in the semis here last year!

L16: (1) Dan Evans WR 342 beat (WC) Keelan Oakley UNR by 4 & 1 smilecry
L16: (8) Sean Thornley WR 637 beat Takuto Niki (JPN) WR 814 by 4 & 4 smile
L16: (3) Dan Cox WR 434 beat Ben Pritchard WR 1271 by 2 & 3 smilecry
L16: (7) Marcus Willis WR 610 beat Burnham Arlidge WR 1011 by 4-6 6-3 6-4 smilecry
L16: (5) Josh Milton WR 482 beat (Q) Andrew Fitzpatrick WR 1253 by 2 & 1 smilecry
L16: (WC) Ahmed el Menshawy UNR lost to (4) Antony Dupuis (FRA) WR 453 by 2 & 3 cry
L16: (6) Rudy Coco (FRA) WR 545 beat Alex Witmeur (BEL) WR 1142 by TBC blankstare
L16: (2) David Rice WR 443 beat Nicolas Rosenzweig (FRA) WR 862 by 1 & 5 smile

QF: (1) Dan Evans WR 342 v (8) Sean Thornley WR 637
QF: (3) Dan Cox WR 434 v (7) Marcus Willis WR 610
QF: (5) Josh Milton WR 482 v (4) Antony Dupuis (FRA) WR 453
QF: (2) David Rice WR 443 v (6) Rudy Coco (FRA) WR 545

So, all 8 seeds through, an all-GB top half and GB v FRA in the bottom half.

H2Hs are 1-0 (Ilkley 2010) for Evo v Thornley, 4-1 (including 2-1 this year) for Cox v Willis and 1-0 (3 sets, Wrexham SFs last year) for Rice v Coco.

Milton's opponent Dupuis is 37 years old and was ranked in the top 60 way back in 2001! He won Milan ATP in 2004, beating Ancic in the Final, and was the runner-up at Munich ATP in 2001 as well but tested positive for salbutamol in 2006 and was banned for 2.5 months. His career prize money of $1.57 m may well beat the aggregate prize money of the rest of the draw put together.

Is this the same Dupuis that Boggo missed multiple MP's against at Queens right at the start of his career?

A repeat of the "don't be an idiot Coxy" match-up from Cumberland.

Are you there today, or is someone relaying the scores? I wonder if Dan's fitness (or lack of after his self-imposed break) has caught up with him.
