that's a tough one, but Ward's got to be feeling confident knowing RET's got his back this week
it's pretty much certain he will get the GB no2 at some point this autumn with Boggo defending so many, but i doubt he'll be able to hold it for long. The rightful owner will be back, better than ever before in 2011

... hopefully with both of them ending it well into the top 200!

The last year Boggo wasn't the 'best of the rest of the Brits' (i.e. excluding Tim, Greg & Andy) was 2004 when he finished at WR 195 and Big Arv beat him by 20 points. He's finished the last 5 years as our top-ranked Challenger level player.

we are also looking at this being a year that Boggo doesn't win challenger event! that's a long run that could come to an end. Although he must have half and eye on Welwyn (listed as carpet but i think its hard) as a good place to rectify that.
still it's all about 2011 now.

He could do with keeping up that Challengers record just to ensure he gets DAs into Challengers early next year, even if Wardy looks like a shoe-in for year-end GB no. 2 now. (whatever happens tomorrow)

That's a lot of matches won by retirement, three this week and one last week. Would somebody like to calculae the odds of that happening?
One might have expected a more convincing result against a player with such a low ranking. No matter, the real test is tomorrow. James has won a lot of matches recently which bodes well for the months to come.
Is James going to stay in Bangkok next week?
It is tough to imagine him not becoming no.2 very shortly. Boggo has done nothing for ages. A shame, I was impressed with his level when I saw him against nic Mahut.....

Yes, Gremelmayr has been in pretty good form the last few months with 3 challenger titles since May really helping pull his ranking back up. Still hoped though.
Now Gremelmayr is the last seed in the top half, well one of only 2 seeds left at all ( with Soeda ), and to cap it all, Rieschick strides on
