You have to wonder why there are no Brits in qualifying for the Orléans super-Challenger when it's on hard courts, so close to the UK and the 4th and 8th qualifying seeds are ranked 341 and 633 respectively ...

Do the LTA or sponsors prefer our players to play in the UK?    Orleans will take approximately the same amount of time to get as Glasgow from London. The main draw is full of very strong players, including some top 50 French guys. Glancing the list, the majority seem to be in the top 140.

Perhaps the Brits feel  the points are easier to win in Glasgow?  By the way, Dustin Brown in playing in Orleans, a while ago there was talk of him becoming British. We could really use him!
