On current form Dan will need divine intervention.

i believe Dan lost a respectable 7-6 6-1, but you can never be sure with MTF

Smethurst/Berta won their R1 doubles match.

In the Quarter-Final they'll play the winners of  (1) Murray,gbr/Coetzee,rsa v Junaid,aus/Karagiannis,gre .

It's the last match (7th) on Centre Court tonight about 7.30/8.00 UK time.

Junaid plays his singles earlier = 5th match on Centre.

He's a decentish doubles player (current rank 156 ) but his partner is a bit of an unknown in current tennis terms.

Nicos Karagiannis (gre). Singles UR (ch738 in 1997), Doubles 863 (ch417 in 1998)

Rain yesterday means the schedule is going to be tight for the rest of the week to get through both the ladies and mens event.
