A brilliant way to slay the horrible memories from Wimbledon.
50:50 now that she'll end the US Open at a new CH, definite top 50 if she can win another round.
She'll play (27) Kvitova or Hradecka next - the H2Hs are 1-1 in each case, but the only time she got on court with Kvitova, she beat her in 3 sets on her way to winning the Torhout ITF title in 2008 and the last time she played Hradecka, she beat her in 3 sets to win the Midland ITF Final. So, good memories of playing both of them from two of the biggest weeks of her career!

Very impressive from Bally. She really excels on the grand slam stage and emphatically puts to bed her experience at Wimby. Further evidence that British players find it difficult to perform at their best at Wimbledon when expected to win.
Very winnable match next assuming its Kivitova as she has been in shocking form since Wimbledon.
