RE: Week 34 - US Open men's qualifying

Boggo hasn't won a match here since he qualified in 2004.

An American crowd behaving in a crass manner. Who would have thought it.

All in all a really depressing day cry

So, Andy will be our sole representative on the men's side again. Ah well.

Jamie's conqueror Gicquel went on to qualify and Dodig beat Okun to qualify from Boggo's section.

just a little bit more info on boggo, He suffered a spasm towards the end of the 1st set, managed to serve it out, and was feeling pretty down cause he was playing really well from the back of the court. For some reason he wastn allowed a medical time out at the end of the set but had to wait untill Blake had played the 1st game of the 2nd set. He tired to contiune, and would ahve served under arm if required but he couldnt run so had to call it a day. Suhc a shame, as looking at the way it panned out, playign well he'd have had a chance vs dodig, and i dont think okun would be as big a threat as he used to.

He's been using heat patches etc on it, going to see a phsyio today, not sure if he will be ready for St Remy yet.

That's a real shame, all the best for a speedy and full recovery.

Such bad luck cry.gif Still, if he's not sure he's definitely out of St Rémy, that at least suggests it's not as bad as it might have been.
