Not a good day for Burnham in Tuscany:  he lost his singles match to the Italian top seed by 1 & 4 (not unexpectedly). cry   Then he & Jakupovich (WR 1746) lost their doubles tie to Fioravente & Rodríguez (WR 2038) in much more closely contested encounter by 7-6(5) 3-6 [8-10]. bleh
