Anne really hitting some doubles form lately! Nice to see.

Would be very dissapointed if she lost to Parmentier, Bally has the much tougher match

She says she performed well....but it worries me that shes going to be in the MD of a slam without a single win in the warmup events.....

Confirmed scores were  7 - 5  6 - 3  win for Anne and Elena lost  7 - 6 (5)  2 - 6  6 - 4

Does look a more encouraging match from Elena, particularly how she describes it, and whilst it would have been much better to get the win and at least one further match, it is at least good if it has given her more confidence in how she's playing.

Pretty decent result for Anne at the moment, hope she can build on that.  Will very probably need to step it up against Latvia's finest, but it's a good test going into the US Open.
