Second on stadium court, following a doubles match.

If he plays like he did yesterday he will lose but I don't think he will play like he did yesterday.

About to start. I think Goodall said the temperature was in the 90s!

Broken in the first game, and muttering to himself already. Oh dear. Ernie holds easily then Andy holds, 1-2*

To lighten the mood a bit, Gulbis must be the only player whose fans know him so well that they put a picture of a muppet on their Go Ernests banner! biggrin

Horrible match so far from Murray.

Forehand is all over the place and he is hitting lots of nothing shots.

Still has a good chance to turn things round.

Great defense there by Andy to break.

It's that defensive ability that can set him apart when stretched but not what he should too often routinely rely on.

The winner of this match will play Mardy Fish, who has seen off Gasquet 7-5 6-2.

96 degrees, according to Goodall. I was literally ill just walking when the temperature got over 30 a few years ago in Vienna, had to see a doc.

I've missed most of this match as I had to go and make a meal, him indoors doesn't see why he should starve just because Andy is playing! Looks like he is playing better than the start of the match.

Serving much better makes life so much easier.   Hopefully Andy can maintain a decent first serve percentage in the final set.

He's  33 / 39  ( 85% ) when it goes in and  9 / 27  ( 33% ) when it doesn't.

Andy is a perfect gentleman, hands the present straight back.
