Andy has played the world n° 58 once before, beating him by 4 & 2, in the opening round of the tournament he won on Sunday when it was played at the alternating venue of Montréal last year. He may not be expecting to repeat his maiden Masters Series triumph in Cincy two years ago (beating NoDjo in the final), but there's surely no doubt that he'll progress to the third round in anything other than straight sets tomorrow...
I would like Andy to get a few matches then bow out gracefully in this one. Doing the Canada/Cinci double is pretty rare - and doing very well in both and then going on to do well in the USO is even rarer. USO has to take precedence, surely. Skipping it altogether last year, after being in the Canada final, did Delpo no harm at all. . .
