I see Anne K has tweeted that she has had a scan and needs to take a few weeks off to rest an ongoing hip problem.  I guess that relates back to at least the middle of August when she retired in the Estonia 25K final and said afterwards that her hip had given way and she just wasn't comfortable moving.

She has consequently withdrawn from Shrewsbury.

Must be so annoying for her at this period when she has no points to defend and potentially some really good points to be won at home.

Naomi Broady is now into the main draw.

I think the injury goes back even further Indy, to I think Nottingham on the grass.
This now leaves only Heather as one of our top girls taking part.
The situation for Barnstaple is even grimmer with Naomi being our highest ranked entrant.
