R32: Jamie Baker WR 249 v (2) Frederico Del Bonis (ARG) WR 122

We are not having much luck with our draws at Challenger level this week. bleh In my opinion this is arguably the worst draw possible. Del Bonis is a very fast rising 19 year old who has won a Challenger (Rome-2) and has made two other Challenger finals (Napoli and Rimini). The good news is that he is an out an out clay courter having played exclusively on the stuff since the Australian Open. Even so you would have to make him a pretty heavy favourite although hopefully Jamie can take heart from a season best win against Ouanna this week.

Looking at his record on Hard Courts it could be far worse for Jamie - definitely a clay court specialist so a definite chance of upset.

Now hopefully, Jamie can go at least one step further.  He has a string of Challenger L16s in his counters, but not quarters.
