Wimbledon had a big effect, yes, at the time pushing Inglot up from 204 to 145.
But he had already been steadily rising with a string of good future and then challenger performances, mostly in the company of Chris Eaton ( currently ranked 160 ), and would be within the top 200 even without his Wimbledon points. Wimbledon was certainly though the icing on his last year

lets not get too carried away. Donald Young is the current world number 100 with 534 points. At the start of this week james ward was wr 283, with 154 points. Ward has certainly been showing form that suggests that he is able to mix it in the top 100, however what he really needs is to start going regularly beyond the QF stage of challengers, where bigger points scores become a reality. Hopefully he can continue this form and steadily climb the rankings. Dare i say, wouldn't it be marvelous to have another top 100 player.

Vancouver's certainly proving to be quite a happy hunting ground so far for most of the Brits who signed in this year! Well done to James, Dom & Flemski.
I've just added in the rankings of Boggo's opponents at the time, having realised they're easy to get of his activity list on the ATP site. It looks like the rankings there are their rankings on the Monday of the main draw, but whether you use that ranking or the previous week's ranking for wins in qualifying, it turns out that Delic was in the top 100 both times that Alex beat him in 2007, so he did get 4 wins against top 100 players that year.

I'll second that. Doubt I'll be awake for the doubles, though, if daisy's timings are correct.
