Quick hold for Navarro, can Chris get it into a t/b?

That points won on 2nd serve % is falling away very sharply cry.gif

Is that Yannick Navarro?

1-6* 5 set points

6-4 6-7(1) oh dear

Can Chris turn this back round, or has Mertens got deep into his head now?

Scoreboard addled too. Whoever operates the livescore can't cope with the rapid change of server, but it looked like it was Chris who DF to give 5 SPs.

Come on Chris turn it around. It looked like he was all over the match until he got broke serving for it.

Yeh, on tiebreaks, on the scoreboards, i dont think it has the right point system on who serves, it happens all the time, saying that someone aced, df'd whereas it was the other person.

Back in 20 minutes, hoping he won't have been fed bakery by then!

Holds his serve for 1-0*, so not a total meltdown ... still hope?

I ended up being too busy to get back in here for more like an hour and 20 minutes - sad (but not that surprised) that Mertens won the 3rd fairly easily after being let back into the match like that. As with Boggo yesterday, what a missed chance cry.gif

Still, I guess if we'd been offered the option of Eaton breaking Groth's streak and qualifying but going out in R1, we'd probably have taken it! smile.gif
