Excellent win - I wonder if they are playing together in preparation for the Commonwealth Games, leaving Katie to partner Sarah.

Anne plays second tomorrow on centre, but it looks as if Bet365 only start their streaming later in the day. Bally plays third on the other court

They might as a result of this.
Anna is a very good doubles player, and I suspect she could easily be top 100 if she focussed solely on doubles.

Anne 1-6

The big difference was Sofia's 1st serve. Anne won 25% on 1st and 2nd serve, Sofia 80% on 1st serve and 17% on 2nd serve.

Well, certainly the most relevant point is Anne's first serve % points.  So quick a set that it's a small sample, 2 / 8, but won't win a bean unless that majorly picks up.

Now, 4 / 5 ( 80% ) in the second set is much better.   2 - 1 *

What a fantastic recovery win from Anne biggrin - she was 3-7 H2H v Arvidsson but had never beaten her outside the UK!
