Another break for Eleni should be decisive - Heather only just winning 50% of points on 1st serve, which isn't enough

2-5*

JoKo a break down in set 2 at 2-5

Well Heather struggled a bit indoors at Wrexham before playing much better outdoors, also confessing she prefers playing outdoors. Be interesting to see how that pans out for the rest of her career. The greek girl has been in better form recently but I still expected Heather given Eleni's rushed preparation to win this.

It also looks like the German girl is getting on top of JoKo.

Bit surprised by Heather's result.

Daniilidou did spend a number of years in the top 50 and seems still capable of odd very good performances, but she has had her injury problems and fallen down the rankings the last year or two and her recent form is not partcularly good.

So combining that with her having to travel in from Istanbul for the match then as I say it was a surprise, especially for Heather to lose from a set up.

I guess a pretty good effort by the Greek girl to win such a match against Heather who in the past has generally got better as matches have got longer.
