But lose the first set 6-4

Lets hope they don't let the good work of the other day go to waste

Any guesses where Sarah might be ranked now? I assume there are big points available for a Premier?

She gets 200 points for a semi final which will be her largest points haul to date.

At a guess she will go to around 63/4

Great stuff, it would have been a bit of a let-down not to have at least got one more win here.

The 200 points earned so far will replace Sarah's 11th best score of 70.  This moves her ranking points from 1150 to 1280, which equates to WR 67 on the current ranking list,  i.e. up 3 places and equalling her CH.  Of course precisely where she ends up depends also on any other movements.

320 points and 470 points await finalists and title winners respectively  smile

A day off today before another very tough match against Huber/. Only 11 Grand Slam titles between them

I think you have a point there, Smidster:  Huber & Davenport may be WCs (anyone happen to know why Huber appears to have parted company with Cara Black?), but they saw off the fourth seeds, Govortsova & Kudryavtseva, with relative ease, by 4 & 2... hmm
