Strangely though the Klein/Chvojka match on the other court is updating, hopefully there isnt some kind of delay in the Bloomers match and it is just the scoreboard
Pretty decent performance from Bloomers to take it to 3 sets up against a guy who is in good form (a QF last week in Lexington). Indeed after that first set I thought it would be over in fairly comfortable straights. It was telling that Bloomers didn't create a single break point chance and overall I would say that Bubka deserved to win but on the positive side I think Bloomers has shown he definitely belongs at this level in my view
Pity for Richard that he couldn't get the win but reading through the thread and looking at the match stats it certainly does look that Bubka was overall the better player through the match.
Dom & TCH take the MTB (& with it the match) by 10-3!
QF: Freddie Nielsen & Joe Sirianni (DEN/AUS) vs (3) Treat Conrad Huey (PHI) & Dominic Inglot
Significantly for their half of the draw, the second seeds, Levy & Martin, are out, beaten 3-6 6-3 [5-10] by the local WCs, Erik Chvojka & Peter Polansky!
