Certainly a really decent opportunity for Richard to win his first round, and indeed it's potentially not too bad after that.

Rich wasn't lucky enough to get the Q vs Q draw instead -

Richard Bloomfield WR 292 vs. Sergei Bubka  (UKR)WR 291

Both have same career high of 176 !

2nd Match Monday (17.30 ish BST)

Not sure this draw isn't better - it holds out more possibility of winning 2 rounds than the Q v Q one.

Rich playing doubles with Adam Feeney.  Could've hoped for a better draw though:

R1:  Richard Bloomfield & Adam Feeney (AUS) vs Paul Capdeville & Carlos Salamanca (CHI/COL)

Meanwhile, Dom & TCH have an early opportunity to avenge their defeat by Raven Klaasen & Izak van der Merwe, who went on to take the title in Lexington against the Aussies, Hensel & Hubble (2), who are seeded fourth here:

R1:  Raven Klaasen & Izak van der Merwe RSA/RSA) vs (3) Dominic Inglot & Treat Conrad Huey (PHI)

Bloomers should be on court soon. I'm unable to follow the ATP live-scoring, so if someone could post updates here, I'll be very grateful.

Nielsen has just beaten Copil 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 so Bloomers will be on court against Bubka very shortly. Coincidently the winner will play the 7th seed Capdeville who beat Evans 3-6, 6-3, 6-2 a few moments ago.
