DDV hasn't had much success since coming back from injury in February but was top 400 in 2008 so is no mug.

Just a footnote to this event - Carreño Busta lost to López Jaén in 3 sets in the Final. The only other player who managed to take a set off the eventual champion this week was new Brit Andrew Gregory in R1.
