Hutch / Kerr lost the Tie Break 7-3.

Kerr lost both his points at 1-2 including a DF.

Flemski break back to make it 5-5

Think the Ward scoreline was probably pretty realistic at this point. Hope he took something positive away from the match. Fish is a more than decent player.

Flemski pull the 2nd set out of the fire ... can they do it?

Match suspended due to darkness ... difficult for both teams to go straight out to a mtb tomorrow.

Think Hutch and Kerr fell behind 5-1 but they have pulled it back to *5-3.

I do tend to agree.   Still kinda hoped for better and I do find it rather depressing.

But as was said earlier James has got very little experience against that level of player so yes hope the experience is of some good use for the future.

They had a couple of break points to get back on serve but couldn't take them. Now the crucial deuce match point / break point is taking forever to update and I fear the worst.

After about 3 mins it is confirmed, Hutch and Kerr lost 7-6 6-3 cry.gif

Strange - have just looked up results on ATP live score and it gives the following -

Erlich/Tipsy win 63 67 11-9

match tie-break must have been played

Was there for this match earlier. Started on Court 2 but when darkness fell at the end of second set, play was suspended as the floodlights weren't good enough. Once Hutchins' match finished on the far better lit Court 1, the MTB was played over there. Probably about a 30min delay which was a shame as Flemski had a good bit of momentum after taking the second set TB.

Tweet from Flemski:
Lost to Erlich/Tipsarevic 6-3 6-7 11-9. Those matches hurt.

Stuart - hope you're enjoying yourself out there?  Shame the Brit pack hasn't progressed ....
