How tall is he now? I seem to remember when he was younger that it was felt he might not grow tall enough to compete at the top level.

I don't think he grew much, only around 5'6 or 5'7.

Dan had a real dip in form for a while, which was disappointing after a really good patch of form earlier last year so this is very much welcomed! Good lad! Bring it home for Lincolnshire!

I tend to big up the Lincs players rather a lot... Hmmm...

(7) Andrea FALGHERI ( ITA ) WR 611 vs (2) Miloslav MECIR ( SVK ) WR 394

McGee hasn't really shown any great form this year with only 8 ranking points won, though I guess he may be inspired a bit by being at home. Does look a winnable match.

McGee did take a set off Berankis in DC the other week, though hopefully that doesn't mean too much.

Great chance now of a second successive title for Dan ( and a 4th successive week that a GB player has won a futures title and Morgan of course is in semis too this week )

Maybe would be good to start off quicker after successive first set scores of 1 - 6, 4 - 6 and 0 - 6

But otherwise great stuff by Dan and if he wins tomorrow he should be back into the top 500 in Monday week's rankings ( around WR 490 ), a remarkable response to his recent drop down the rankings smile

( even if he loses he will be up to around WR 538 )
