Olly has added a"u" to his surname for his assault on the Youth Olympics I notice. I don't care much for pointing out grammar and spelling on forums (unless it's Stevenhey Count! ) but when the press make such elementary mistakes its embarrassing.
In Saturday's guardian there was a picture of Marlon Harewood with a caption and article about Jermaine Beckford and another basic spelling mistake I can't remember the exact word for.
I wish I had trained as a sports journalist all those years ago now

That's not the first time the press have mixed up tennis player Ollie Goulding and the singer Ellie Goulding. They look so alike ...

What would be really cool was if the football pitch could be sailed away and replaced with the ground for the sport, re-using the same stand!
The age rules seem a bit daft here with respect to the age at which female tennis players transition from juniors to the women's tour. Laura isn't elligible to play because she is too young, despite winning a junior slam 2 years ago.

Yes, the age rules vary from sport to sport, and seem to have been carefully and sensibly thought out, except in girls' tennis, where it is obvious to anyone with a bit of relevant knowledge that the decision made is a dumb one. Perhaps someone with influence in tennis doesn't want the tournament to be a winner. Let's see how many of the best eligible girls turn up. Not many would be my guess.
A tough draw, but the Hungarian has had a modest time of it since Wimbledon. Apparently Ollie is rooming with Tom Daley
Doubles R1
Ouyang/Wang (CHN) v Golding (GBR) / Vesely (CZE)
Vesely is a very tall leftie (not that you would know it from the ITF site, who have one of their infamous height typos http://www.itftennis.com/mens/players/player.asp?player=100124174) who looks like a cross between Tomas Berdych and Radek Stepanek, currently ranked 6
