No sign of anything this evening, either. Dunno why they bother with a web site. It's absolutely bloody useless, worse by far than anything the LTA does & that's saying something...!
i think what is really bad is the promise of so much more - like a live stream - then not delivering! at least the LTA dont do that.
Good win for Alex, given the h2h, probably expected though on hard courts, and obivously Rich had played a lot of tennis last week so may not have been feeling 100% fresh.
Dubs as expected, esp after he got a singles win in the bag. Beck plays today so Alex will get a break till Thursday now.
Mike any idea of Rich's next movements? obvisuyly his new ranking wont start getting him into challengers for a few weeks, might he try more ATP Q's?

I contacted Seascape (Aptos) last night and mentioned that the draws links gave an error, they were very helpful with the scores that I posted also informed me that "....our web guy has been out." They also followed up with a full daily report which unfortunately only covers Bog/Bloom match with result, it wouldn't have taken much to have posted that on their web site for the world to see.
Not sure if Rich will stay to play Lexington next week as scheduled or fly back to play summer county cup for Norfolk, especialy as the team has some injuries including Aucks, the latter event is usually his highest priority in the tennis year but he may decide to stay in usa and try to consolidate his recent success.

the current BBC headline tennis article is Boggo beating Bloomers!
this is good for the BBC etc as they can say how both players have recently had a go at the LTA, but it's rare that 1st rd challenger results get coverage!
it would be nice if the BBC continue to show interest but we all know as soon as the memory fades over Blooms SF it will go back to the old ways.

I notice the LTA have conveniently not published an article on their two biggest fans meeting in Aptos. I'm sure its just an oversight..........

That'll be 3 of the current GB top 6 that currently are not on the best of terms / on any terms with the LTA ( Boggo, Bloomers and Evo ), and Andy is probably not really bothered, but has had negative views in the past ( eg. treatment of big bro ). Not a great ratio.
Which leaves our Davis Cup duo of Baker and Wardy. Jamie it must be said seems on the surface a real LTA man from some stuff he's publicly said against some nasty old things others have said.

You can add Goodall as well to the list of our top players who are not big fans of the LTA.
Its strange, but I end up getting behind the players who have previously had run ins or been treated really badly by the LTA. Boggo, Bloomers, Dr No etc. Shame Miles Kasiri has called it a day, I'd be his number 1 fan!
