Great fightback by Katie and Laura/Lisa probably as expected. Babos win not a complete shock, and should give Laura a decent chance to make the semis. Laura now realistically the favourite for the title on form shown so far.
With Pakistan 148 all out at Lords, not a happy day for the Malik family.
I wouldn't say Laura is a clear favourite - I'd only give her just over 50/50 for her next match. Timea is at a career high singles + doubles and hasn't had the wildcards that Laura has, so the rankings gap is probably bigger than the skill gap. There didn't look a lot between them when they played in the doubles at Wimbledon. However, whoever wins that match would my favourite for the tournament.

Laura is a class above Babos at her best. I also watched that junior doubles match and felt when both players played rallies backwards and forth to the other, Babos was breaking down eventually. I also remember an interview Babos gave during the Aussie open when it appeared to me she was slightly in awe of Laura. However we all know Laura can have her offdays so we'll have to wait and see. I would make the match 70/30 in Laura's favour.
