Goodness, thanks for letting me know.
A match where the contestants couldn't give a stuff whether they win or lose! A doubles match too! And on a polished wood court where rallies are impossible!
Awesome!

And yet the tickets are generally more expensive than for the ATP Tour finals
I really don't see it as too big for Heather to turn down if it was going to have any significant impact on her close season training and practice.
So hopefully it won't, and a few days relatively off with this pap maybe fits in not too bad. Otherwise she's a top 50 player now with clear ambitions to go higher so she doesn't really need it, and does need to be fully fired up ready to go come the start of next season.
Disclaimer : I come to this as a general lover of sport, but real competitive sport. I really like my football too, but can never understand how some folk can get really quite enthused about club or international friendlies, even if in theory sometimes for some meaningless throphy. So effectively exhibition tennis never will seem a priority to me.

The Tennis Masters is on next friday on itv4. Heather is playing mixed with Tim. Hopefully they televise it.
I looked this up a couple of weeks ago, and it it would seem that there is only tv coverage later in the week after Hev's and Annie K's mixed match.
Hopefully playing this event too big to turn down hasn't disrupted her preseason training camp which probably would have taken her up to the end of next week.
