RE: Week 27 Futures - Great Britain F9 ($10k) - Ilkley (grass)

H2Hs:

(1) Evo v Willis 2-1 (but Marcus won at the Nottingham Challenger this year, the first time they had played since 2008)

(3) Goodall v BBD 2-0

(4) Rice v (7) Milton 0-2

(WC) Morgan v Ebelthite AUS - never played each other

Yes he did, I was just basing the H2Hs on what's on ITF in the same way that I ignore British Tour results, etc. I should have remembered that one though!

Btw, interesting to see that Fitzy is playing doubles with Josh this week. I wonder if Josh has convinced us that we're evil or id he's convinced Josh that we're not that bad after all. LOL I'll got for option 3 though - i.e. we haven't cropped up in conversation! smile.gif

Having had a dire draw, they're looking good now that Eaton & Inglot have had to withdraw.

Great to see Morgan continuing to progress at senior level and a first quarter-final is a great achievement for him.

Don't expect him to beat Ebelthite, but will be a good test nonetheless for him.

Any of the other Brits are capable of taking the title here, as long as one of them takes it then all will be good.

When I left, Milton was a set and 4-1 up and Evo had just won the second set breaker, so thought he was in the ascendancy too! That's why I don't bet on sport outcomes, lol.

George did really well against Ebelthite. Was match-point down in the tie-breaker in the second and broke him twice in the final set. Good work.
