RE: Week 27 Futures - Great Britain F9 ($10k) - Ilkley (grass)

Absolutely stunning day - no less than 5 Brits beat higher-ranked non-Brits and to get 13/19 through when the GB Qs and WCs made up the bulk of the lowest-ranked players in the draw is incredible. biggrin

Well done to Fitzy in particular - beating a player over 1000 places above him in the rankings, that must feel good! smile

Great day for the British players and this looks like being one of the most profitable tournaments for a long time.

Great to see Gabb and Farquahson get ranking points and Fitzy picking up another point and beating a good player in the process, while the top 3/4 of the draw is full of Brits and thus lots of winners guarenteed.

No big surprises there, apart from the Morgan win we already knew about. Fitzy just a t/b away from the QFs ... hope you can build on that in the next few weeks!

Willis beat Evo last time - in the Nottingham qualies.  Wonder if he can do it again.
