The MD is out and the Q spots are against Chris Guccione (AUS), Ilija Bozoljac (SRB), Christophe Rochus (BEL) and Santiago Giraldo (COL). I imagine the Rochus is probably the best draw out of that lot but none look especially imposing I would say. Lets hope that one of our guys (preferably Boggo) goes and and gets through into the draw.
I imagine the Bogster would prefer to avoid the Gooch after Wimbledon 2007, unless he feels like a bit of revenge. Bloomers is 0-1 against the Aussie too.
Boggo is 2-3 against Bozo, but of course beat him the only time they played on grass to qualify for Queen's this year.
Rochus is also up in the H2H v Boggo, having beaten him in Orléans, but like Alex he is on a streak of 8 R1 losses at Wimbledon, though he did win a R1 match there way back in 2000, the first time he played. Amazingly enough, he has also been drawn against two champions and a third finalist, in his case Fed, Hewitt & Philippoussis!
Bloomers beat Giraldo in Nottingham qualifying in 2005.

GB on a shirt, Davis Cup still gleaming, 79 years of hurt, never stopped us dreaming ... 29/11/2015 that dream came true!
Guccione WR 214: Nottingham CH R32 (l to Soeda) Queens R64 (l to Sela) Wimbledon Q1 (l to Peya) Overall: 0-3
Bozoljac WR 152: Nottingham CH R16 (bt Navarro, l to Begemann) Queens Q3 (bt Milton, l to Boggo) Wimbledon Q+R64 (bt Vagnozzi, Munoz-De La Nava, DeHeart, Massu, l to Federer Overall: 6-3
C. Rochus WR 158: Wimbledon Q1 (l to Huta Galung) Overall: 0-1
Giraldo WR 54: Queens R32 (bt Korolev, l to Fish) s-Hertogenbosch Q (bt Chiudinelli, Troicki, l to Stakhovsky) Wimbledon R128 (l to De Bakker) Overall: 3-3
Certainly then either Rochus or a still rusty Guccione are the best draws on paper, the one to avoid is probably Giraldo although Boggo is definately capable of beating any of them on this surface.
Good to see Bloomers get a much needed win as well, especially having lost the second set tiebreak in the way he did.
The draw to get is definately Rochus, as the guy hasn't won an ATP match all year and has a career 3-21 record on grass. Would be a match that you would expect Boggo to win, and probably Bloomers as well, if they did draw him. And of course, it would mean that you would get either another qualifier or Giraldo in round two which is winnable, even though Giraldo is having a good year.
I think Rochus would be a good draw, as FD said, he's having a shocking year and has poor form on grass. However I'd worry about Giraldo in the 2nd round.
Bozo would'nt be a bad draw for Boggo, he's already beaten him on grass(although it was squeaky bum time for a while) and looking forward he'd potentially meet the reigning champion Rajeev Ram in the 2nd round, who's also having a bad year and Boggo beat him at Nottingham.
Lets just hope we get a qualifier.........
