James Ward and Josh Goodall are at the top of the entry list here, though Evo will outrank Josh for the no. 2 seeding place if he qualifies and the draw is made after qualifying ends.
Other potential GB seeds are Rice, Milton and Slabba, with Willis, Inglot, Thornley and Arlidge other GB DAs. Brassington and Bradshaw were higher on the alt list than anyone in qualifying who was on the Alt list in the first place, so they must be in as late DAs or as WCs.
Obviously Dom won't be able to take up his place if he and Chris win another doubles round at Wimbledon on Monday, but I assume he will be able to make it in time for the Tuesday start if they don't win. Indeed, I'm not sure why Eaton and players like Bloomers (who reached the Final of the Manchester Challenger two years ago) were never on the entry list here.

There should be a British winner of this event - the question will just be which Brit manages to get the win.
No Eaton is a bit of a surprise. I originally thought that he may have planned to play Newport qualies instead of this event, but the fact he is entered for next week's event suggests that isn't going to happen.
Guess he'll get a wild card if he is able to play though.
True, but the main draw doesn't start until Tuesday, so if they go out on Monday, he should be able to play ... as should BBD who's already a main draw DA.

The fact that Eaton didn't originally sign up for this event is where the surprise comes, but he is playing next week.
So that suggests either he expected still to be involved in the second week of Wimbledon (which given his form wasn't very likely), fancied a week off (but having barely played recently he wouldn't need one), or was going to head to Newport qualies (but the fact he's playing next week suggests he isn't doing that).
Most likely is he forgot to enter the event and would either have got a wild card or entered qualies and got some easy wins.

I'm a bit shocked that Evo managed to get fed a breadstick by Christopher Simpson in the 1st set in QR2, but he survived to set up the FQR match I'm sure a lot of us wanted against Robert Dee's erstwhile dubs partner Charlie Goode, whom I might have to stop nicknaming 'notso' if he carried on getting results like the one against Sedmak!
Someone on here knows Keelan Oakley quite well, don't they? He must have been pleased to take a set off Fitzy.
Four guaranteed GB qualifiers then ... and a very good win for Alan Bevan against someone just outside the top 1000 in QR2 hopefully means he has a good chance against the kiwi too.

Anything other than a British winner of this event would be a very huge disappointment given that Baker, Ward, Evans, Goodall etc are the class apart in this field.
Would hope to see Ward or Baker take the title to have some good grass court form going into the Davis Cup tie, and it would also be a bit embarassing for them to be selected if they are losing to other Brits.
Although, I wouldn't be surprised to see Baker lose to Slabba if they met, and both Goodall/Evans could trouble Ward if they play their best and Ward isn't in his Eastbourne form.
