Brilliant win for them, especially as it looked like their chance had gone when they gave the first break up.
I don't expect them to beat Bennetaeu/Llodra in the next round, but then again, I didn't think they'd even get a set in this match, so who knows what they could do.
Having deposed the top seeds, Chris & Dom should have no trouble at all with their third-round opponents, the Frog 14th seeds, Julien Benneteau & Michaël Llodra!
Of course, Inglot has recent experience of facing Benneteau and Llodra, having been beaten 6-2, 6-2 by them at Eastbourne in a match that Inglot and Delgado on that occasion were lucky to get 4 games, but this time Inglot is partnering Eaton.
Benneteau/Llodra have won Marseille earlier this year and won Las Vegas back in 2008, and are in good form together having reached the semi's of Queens.
The winner of this match has a great chance to reach the semi finals as well.
The winner would face either the Ratiwatana twins (who are a challenger level team at best), de Bakker/Haase (neither has any pedigree in doubles in the past) or Chela/Schwank (who again are not great doubles players nor are good on grass) in the last eight.
Let's just hope Benneteau is too focused on his singles to be able to be at his best in the doubles, where he leads Fognini two sets to love in his third round match, and would likely face Tsonga in the 4th round who he has a 4-3 winning head to head against.
From the start of the year I've said that this could be a formidable partnership and that is an absolute fantastic result! Bennetau/Llodra next, will be tough, but if they serve and volley to the best of their standards then i think we could see maybe a quarterfinal!
