Yes, a repeat of Hlavachova's 6 -1 6 - 2 win over Naomi.
One thing I would say to folk expecting more of Naomi and / or Lisa that the tennis score system can be very unforgiving. You can have an actually quite competitive set with many close games that end up with 6- 2 or even 6 -1 set scores.
I am not saying that's necessarily been the case here and I didn't follow that much of :Lisa's match though did see the BPs she had.
Indeed I always thought that this was a big ask for Lisa, more so than for Naomi.
just saying I don't necessary agree with getting down on someone who suffers a scpreline like that that's bigger than we hoped / expected especially when the opponent may have been playing very well.

I was expecting a lot more, not necessarely a win, but definately more than 3 games...
Not sure why, if Hlavackova was in the same form as yesterday and Cav only took 3 games off her then. Hoping for more, yes!
True, probably because she was the only woman left in qualifying I was probably hoping more than expecting to be fair. I usually think that getting to the last round of qualifying means that you must be in pretty good form (having not actually seen any of the games) and being one round away from playing in Wimbledon must be massive motiviation. Although obviously the same applies for any opponent.
Still, Lisa should be massively applauded for getting to the last round of qualifying and beating two higher ranked players to get there. Hope it gives her a useful kick on.

The games where I had my eye on the live scores did seem very competitive.
In fairness to some of the other commenters though, scores are all we do have to go on, so it's fair enough to comment on that basis as long one's open to being wrong. I guess we'll find out more when anyone from here who was actually there gets back.

One thing about WTA compared to ATP, the serve is so much less dominant generally, so a break down ( even 2 sometimes ! ) is so much less significant.
I'd still err prefer Lisa to be in a better position than she is now.
I would totally agree, but I don't think that Lisa had, had any break points before that game in the last set. So I thought it was pretty unlikely....
Fair enough, as I said I wasn't really following the scoreboard till just before Lisa got these second set BPs, though it was still was just one break down at the time.
Does seem maybe though in this case the 6 -1 6 - 2 scoreline did reflect the match fairly accurately, and to be honest I don't fiind that a huge surprsie.
Lisa has done very well this week, but I always thought she was up against it here.

Ther trouble I do have with some scoreline commentators is talking about such as disastrous or nightmare performances, even ugly . Even if kinda following the scores point by point, they can't see the actual play / performance, I have actually mistakenly thought someone was once watching a match rather than just following the SB, there was so much more on offer !
It's partly me though, I must let it be more and be a bit more chilled I don't promise though

It should give her a huge leg-up. Looking at the last year, Lisa has to qualify for $10K events this time last year. She also entered a few $25K events. For 2 of these she had to qualify, and for the other she had a WC. Her new ranking should give her direct entry to most $25K events, and a high seeding for $10K's. For example, she's top seed for the $10K in Norway next week.
