And i know he didn't make it but if Boggo had come through his section he'd have got Djokovic! (which of course Mahut gets). evebn is absentia Boggos curse contiunes.

Not bad for JB really. Beck never won a MD match at wimby, in 08 he qualified then got Rafa 1st rd, and last year he lost to Granollers in 4 sets 1st rd.
reached QF at Halle beating Stak and Keifer before losing too Leyton.

Jan Hájek is Czech, aged 26, 1.8 m tall, right-handed and reached a career high of 71 in 2006.
Hájek's best performance in a slam was reaching R3 at RG in 2007 but that's when his problems started. He retired from his R3 match against Baggy with a shoulder injury and both shoulder and heart problems have troubled him almost ever since.
As a result, he ended 2007 at WR 240 and 2008 at WR 479. By the end of 2009, he was just outside the top 100 and he has now moved back up to WR 80.
He has only played one Murray before, beating Jamie 2 & 3 in Wolfsburg Challenger qualifying in 2006. He has played quite a few lower-ranked Brits in his career, Jonny Marray in Wrexham in 2005 being the only one he has lost to.
His best recent performance was winning the Projestov Challenger, though Stepanek retired against him in the Final. He has not played on any surface other than clay since losing to Stakhovsky in Miami and last played on grass at Wimbledon 3 years ago when he lost to Ferrero in R1 7-5 in the 5th after being 2 sets up. The only other time he played on grass as a senior was when he beat Bastl then lost to Gio Lapentti in Wimbledon qualifying back in 2003.
All in all, it should be a very straightforward match for Andy to get used to the Wimbledon grass with.

I see Hajek around a lot on the Eastern European clay court challenger circuit. He seems to pull out quite a few good wins... but I don't get the sense that he's pushing on enough that he's on the rise..

Marray and Murray have just drawn Nestor and Zimonjic! Talk about unlucky! Unfortunately Radio Wimbledon was talking over Eaton and Inglot's opponents. Er, Goodall and Delgado just got drawn as well but I missed their opponents.
Hutchins and Kerr get Boggo and Slabba!
Flemski get Mahut and... um... his partner.

I think Eaton & Inglot may have got Fognini & Ullyet. Not 100% on that though.
Delgado & Goodall are playing Almagro & Ventura.
Flemski play Clement & Mahut with winners going on to possibly face Bryans in 2nd round.
Okay SERIOUSLY, what is up with ticketmaster?! Won't somebody help me find the tickets?! They always have them up there weeks in advance but only release them for sale at the usual 48 hours at 12 or 8:30pm the night before times, but ticketmaster claims there are no tickets for Wimbledon and yet the Wimbledon website says that tickets will be available through ticketmaster, I am going nuts here trying to sort this out!!!! I neeeeeeed the tickets!!!

In the few years that here have been returns on Ticketmaster, it has tended to say so on the Wimbledon site. This year it doesn't. Even though I've never got Wimbledon tickets through Ticketmaster myself, I think it would be a very retrograde step if they stopped offering them that way, but there you go ... until tomorrow (when the first lot would probably go on sale), there's still hope.
